The Virginia Beach Police Department reported increased patrol activity in the Oceanfront and Town Center areas this month.
Notable Arrests
- Burglary ring — Four suspects were arrested in connection with a string of residential burglaries in the Great Neck area. All four face felony charges including breaking and entering and grand larceny.
- Drug arrests — Officers made 12 drug-related arrests across the city this week, primarily in the Newtown Road corridor.
- Domestic violence — 6 arrests related to domestic violence complaints, with 2 felony charges.
Police Checkpoints & DUI
